The Ya Habibi Oriental and Folklore dance troupe is an eclectic group of passionate students that have come together to share their love of oriental dance and Middle Eastern culture. Led by Jameelah Sultan, the group strives to deliver artful authentic performances celebrating the cultural diversity of this region. Their repertoire currently includes Classical Egyptian, Modern Oriental, AmCab, Egyptian Folklore (Saiidi, Haggalla, Nubian, Melaya Leff, Fellahin, Ghawazee, Muwashahat, Raqs Assaya) and Egyptian Sha'abi. The troupe is available for performances during community and cultural festivals, charity fundraisers and dance soirees nationwide.
